Starts strong and smooths out with a silkiness as it goes down to the back of the throat. Dry with medium tannins. Pairs with smokier meats and smoked cheeses. Quite earthy, with berry, spice, oak, leather and a hint of chocolate on the palate. Rather refreshing. Moderately dry with a twinge of sweetness. Medium tannins. Nice finish. Goes well with grilled meats. Pairs nicely with lamb. 14% ABV. Price: $8.99.
