Blackberry, oak and light fragrance on the nose. Black cherry, blackberries, dark chocolate and just a hint of strawberry. Twinge of smokiness. Starts strong and smooths out with a silkiness as it goes down to the back of the throat. Dry with medium tannins. Pairs with smokier meats and smoked cheeses. Quite earthy, with berry, spice, oak, leather and a hint of chocolate on the palate. Rather refreshing. Moderately dry with a twinge of sweetness. Medium tannins. Nice finish. Goes well with grilled meats. Pairs nicely with lamb. 14% ABV. Price: $8.99.

Very juicy, with a lot of dark fruit. Somewhat oaky and spicy, with a little vanilla and tobacco on the palate. Rather dry and very tannic. Complex finish, with lots of different flavors. Easy to drink with or without food. Great value for the price. 14% ABV. Price: $7.99.

Pairs well with pizza and cheeses. 14.5% ABV. Price: $16.99.
