Verbo Aglianico Del Vulture 2017Red wine from Venosa, Italy. Very dark complexion. Full bodied. Black fruits with blackberry, black cherry, blueberry and a hint oak on the nose. Complex flavors of dark fruits, a lot of blackberry and a hint of chocolate in the mouth. Oaky, leathery, tart and very bold. Strong tannins. Rather dry with a medium finish. Pairs with barbeque, smoked sausage and cheese. Decanting recommended. 14% ABV. Price: $14.99.
