Red blend from California. Mix of Petite Syrah, Merlot, Zinfandel and Petite Verdot grape. Full bodied with dark complexion. Blackberry, oak and light fragrance on the nose. Black cherry, blackberries, dark chocolate and just a hint of strawberry. Twinge of smokiness. Starts strong and smooths out with a silkiness as it goes down to the back of the throat. Dry with medium tannins. Pairs with smokier meats and smoked cheeses. Better served with food than on its own. 15.1% ABV. Price: $19.99.
