Red blend from Lodi, California. Blend consists of 80% Zinfandel, 10% Syrah, 5% Petite Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Full bodied, Dark complexion. Black cherry and blackberry on the nose. Cedary with a mix of blackberry, cherry and a hint of clove on the palate. Astringent. A lot of tannins. Very dry with a tight finish. 14.8% ABV. Price: $17.99.

Red Sangiovese blend from Tuscany, Italy. Medium bodied, with a nice bouquet on the nose. Fruity with cherry on the tongue. Dry with medium tannins. It has a very nice finish. Aeration recommended. 13% ABV. Price: $9.98.

Red blend from Carmel, California. Consists of 64% Grenache, 33% Syrah, and 3% Petite Syrah. Medium bodied, with a little blackberry on the nose. A mix of boysenberry and blackberry on the tongue. Light tannins. A little Jammy. This is a nice, smooth, easy wine to drink. 14.4% ABV. Price: $19.99.

Red wine from Italy. Leather and a flowery fragrance on the nose. Smelled like a new used car with too much incense. Flowery and leathery taste. Aged in oak, but maybe for too long. Tannic. Allegedly very fruity, but I found it complex, like drinking liquid incense that was too intense. 14.5% ABV. Price: $15.99
